The Crimean police strongly recommend that you do not follow the instructions received as a result of a telephone conversation. In case of doubt about the conscientiousness of the caller, it is better to complete the call and call back the bank’s phone number or mobile operator (depending on who the interlocutor introduced himself).

A resident of Yalta appealed to the police with a statement of fraud. The attacker, introducing himself as an employee of mobile communications, under the pretext of extending the contract, lured fraudulently 147 thousand rubles.

An unknown person who introduced himself as an employee of the electric networks called a resident of the Black Sea region. The fraudster, threatening with fines and disconnecting from power supply, convinced the woman about urgent need for replacing the electric meter. As a result, the Crimean woman transferred 92 thousand rubles to a dictated score.

6 From the specified number of calls were carried out through instant messengers (telegrams, VOTSAP)

A resident of one of the villages of the Saksky district turned to the police. The applicant told the police that in the Messenger Watsap, supposedly a law enforcement officer called her. The caller told the Crimean woman that suspicious activity was recorded on her account, in connection with which she was suspected of financing the armed forces of a neighboring state. A frightened woman, acting under the guidance of scammers, translated more 1.9 million on the “safe” account provided by the false guide.

A similar incident occurred with a resident of the Simferopol district. The man transferred scammers to accounts 300 thousand rubles.

Two residents of the resort city of Yalta became victims of the same fraudster. The unknown called, introduced himself as a lawyer and promised legal assistance, however, receiving an advance payment, he disappeared without fulfilling the promised. In the total amount, citizens transferred the false legalist more than 70 thousand rubles. Police officers installed an attacker.

How to recognize a telephone scammer?

Through Internet sites, social networks, messengers, 25 citizens were deceived

A resident of Simferopol turned to the police. The woman told the police that an unknown person who introduced himself as the general director of the car dealership in the Watsap messenger. The man offered the applicant help in buying a car from abroad. Having discussed all the details of the transaction, the woman translated more than 1.2 million Rules allegedly at the expense of the car dealership. But she waited neither a car, nor a refund for the failed purchase.

A “investment company employee” contacted the Watsap messenger with a resident of the Soviet district with a proposal to earn money. Hoping to make a profit, the woman invested in investments 430 thousand rubles. However, a month later, having never received the promised income, she turned to the police.

Neither money nor husband: a resident of Feodosia gave 141 thousand Relishes of clairvoyant, who, in one of the social networks, promised the Crimean woman to preserve her family, having conducted a special rite. But the spell did not work, and the money disappeared.
