45% of Crimean residents blame the leadership for abuse

CrimeaPRESS reports:

45% of Crimean residents said that they faced abuse from their superiors. Most often, various violations of labor legislation were cited as manifestations of abuse, in particular, overtime work, work on weekends and holidays, non-core duties (3 out of 10 survivors of abuse): “There is a shortage of working personnel, it is physically difficult to do the work for two people”; “I had to stay until 1-2 o’clock in the morning, sometimes until 3 o’clock, because… The amount of work was simply enormous.” 19% had to listen to insults, 17% faced public criticism, another 14% faced psychological pressure. 13% had to listen to rudeness, 10% endured tyranny or arrogance.

38% of economically active citizens blame co-workers for abusive behavior. Judging by the comments, they had to deal with psychological pressure (17%), gossip (13%), public criticism (10%) and unreasonable nagging (9%) in their work groups.

Women were more likely than men to share stories about inappropriate treatment by management and colleagues. Respondents aged 35-44 years old most often spoke about abuse from their superiors, and from colleagues — respondents under 34 years old.
