56 Sevastopol residents injured at work received spa treatment in Crimean health resorts

Since the beginning of 2024, the Sevastopol Department of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation has provided vouchers for spa treatment to 56 city residents who suffered as a result of industrial accidents. Also, a resident of Sevastopol underwent medical rehabilitation after an injury at the multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Center of the Social Fund «Crystal» in Anapa.

The Regional Branch of the SFR provides a voucher to a sanatorium under the rehabilitation program for an injured worker at work, which recommends sanatorium and resort treatment with an indication of the treatment profile, number of days and recommended season. At the same time, the SFR Branch for Sevastopol pays for travel expenses, treatment, accommodation and meals for the injured person and accompanying person for those who are prescribed accompanying by doctors.

Eight Sevastopol residents with consequences of diseases and spinal cord injuries underwent rehabilitation at the specialized sanatorium named after Academician N. N. Burdenko in the city of Saki. Contracts have also been concluded with the health resort «Clinical Sanatorium Poltava» in Saki for those in need of treatment for diseases of the musculoskeletal system and with the sanatorium «Slavutich» in Alushta for the profile of «diseases of the respiratory system and nervous system. It should be noted that the regional branch of the SFR for Sevastopol pays for the insured person’s vacation in addition to the annually paid vacation established by the legislation of the Russian Federation for the entire period of his/her spa treatment.
