6 out of 10 Crimean companies offer salary based on interview results

Representatives of companies and economically active residents of Crimea took part in the SuperJob service survey. The income level «By agreement» is found today in only 4-5% of vacancies. SuperJob found out why some companies continue to hide salaries.
In most cases, recruiters try to hire staff profitably in this way: 59% set the salary based on the results of the interview. 32% of employers study salary expectations in order to develop a competitive salary offer. 19% do not publish salaries in vacancies for positions with piecework and bonus forms of payment. 17% expect to attract more applicants this way. 13% hide salaries from competitors and their own employees. 12% want to find good workers for little money. 11% honestly admit that their company’s income does not reach the market average. 5% use the wording “By agreement” when they do not know how much to pay for this or that work, — noted in the press service of the service.
Salary expectations are hidden at 50-52%. The wording “By agreement” is most often used by applicants to be able to ask for more, focusing on the actual volume and conditions of work (39%). 13% prefer to talk about salaries in person. 10% hope that the employer will offer more money than they value themselves. 7% do not know how to determine their value on the labor market. 5% want to be able to choose from vacancies with different schedules, conditions, etc.
