6 out of 10 Crimeans are ready to work under the supervision of a specialist significantly younger than themselves

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Every ninth person will agree to work with a young manager only under certain conditions, most often this is the suitability of the young manager for the position, his general adequacy and willingness to increase his salary. Economically active citizens with permanent jobs took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.

23% of Crimeans already work under specialists younger than themselves: 10% have bosses more than 10 years younger than them, 13% have bosses who are 5-10 years younger. 30% of city residents work under managers around their age. 19% of respondents have bosses who are 5-10 years older, and 16% have bosses who are more than 10 years older. 61% of respondents are ready to work under the guidance of a specialist significantly younger than themselves. Another 11% — only under certain conditions, such as: suitability of the manager for the position held, adequacy and maturity, salary increase. 12% would never agree to report to an employee younger than themselves,” noted the service’s press service.

Men are more loyal to young management: “The main thing is that he is a good specialist, distributes work competently and is for his team”; “There is adventurism in youth. Over the years there has been less and less of it.”
