The operational console of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea» received information about the fire of dry vegetation in the area of the village. Bagerovo, Leninsky district.
The on-duty shift of the village PCH was sent to the scene of the incident. Upon arrival, it became known that dry grass and bushes were burning in an open area outside the settlement. Crimean firefighters laid hose lines and quickly extinguished the fire. The area was 600 square meters. The liquidation was complicated by strong, gusty winds. There were no casualties. The reasons are determined by experts— the details of the incident were announced by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Crimea.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea draws the attention of residents and guests of the peninsula to the need to comply with fire safety measures:
- Open fire is prohibited!
- do not burn waste uncontrollably;
- in order to avoid the spread of fire from one building to another, clear the territory of household yards and garage cooperatives from debris and dry grass;
- do not throw away burning matches or cigarette butts;
- do not leave bottles or broken glass in a sunlit area;
- If you find an incipient fire, for example, a small grass fire, try to extinguish it yourself. If the fire is strong enough and you cannot put it out on your own, try to notify emergency officials about it as quickly as possible.
In case of emergency, you must call: “112”.
