61% of the inhabitants of Crimea consider higher education prestigious

In a survey of the Search for highly paid work Superjob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
6 out of 10 residents of Crimea (61%) believe that having a higher education is prestigious. Women agree with this more often men (70% versus 53%, respectively). The older the inhabitants of Crimea, the higher the value of the university diploma for them: among respondents over 45, 71%believe in its prestige, while among young people under 35 years old — only every second (53%.) Those whose income is more than 100 thousand rubles, believe that higher education is prestigious, often citizens who make less (70%). But the most supporters of this point of view are among the owners of university diplomas (74% against 41% among graduates of secondary professional educational institutions).
What do the inhabitants of Crimea consider “good education”? 6 out of 10 participants in the survey see it in the formation of professional competencies, 30% — in the ability to independently acquire knowledge throughout life, for 9% the key to quality education is training at a prestigious university.
