65% of Crimeans support the introduction of fines for insulting teachers

The majority of Crimeans support the bill introducing fines for swearing at teachers. In a service survey Superjob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
was introduced to the State Duma billaccording to which a fine will be imposed for publicly insulting a teacher while he is on duty. The majority of Crimeans (65%) supported this initiative. 15% of respondents were against it: “If fines could solve everything”; «It’s about education.» Almost every fifth (20%) found it difficult to answer: “Why is everything always so categorical? You need to understand any situation”; “Sometimes teachers themselves go too far with their students. Therefore, this issue is very controversial.”
The older the respondents, the more supporters of the bill are among them: 64% among respondents under 34 years of age and 74% among citizens over 45 years of age. Among parents of schoolchildren, 61% approve of the initiative. Every fifth person is against it, among them as those who are aware of their incontinence or have already had precedents (“This does not always depend on the parents of schoolchildren, sometimes on the school and teaching staff, so let the fines be divided among all those responsible”; “Not all teachers are an example of a culture of communication, from some children need to be protected by all means, even publicly»), and those who anticipate problems due to children’s statements and shift responsibility to the school (“Parents send their child to school so that he can be educated there, including behavior»).
