7 out of 10 Crimeans support the idea of free distribution of goods with expiration dates
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the Financial University, as a measure to support pensioners and the poor, proposed organizing “social shelves” in stores with goods with expiration dates that could be purchased at a reduced price or picked up for free. The majority of Crimeans approve of this initiative. Representatives of the economically active population took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.
73% of Crimeans are for “social regiments”. 20% are against, their main arguments: “Pensions need to be increased, and not handed out in arrears; “Products with expiration dates pose a danger to human health”; “The impudent people will snatch up everything, there will be nothing left for those in need”; “This is a humiliation of human dignity!” — noted in the press service of the service.
Women support the initiative more actively than men (77 and 69%, respectively). Crimeans under 34 years of age approve of the proposal more often than those older (80%).
