74% of residents of the Southern Federal District support the abolition of the Unified State Exam

A bill has been submitted to the State Duma to cancel the Unified State Exam and return traditional exams. Representatives of the economically active population from the Southern Federal District took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob Career Start.
According to the results of a SuperJob survey, 74% of residents of the Southern Federal District are in favor of abolishing the Unified State Exam. In addition, 6% of citizens spoke out against the refusal, and every fifth (20%) found it difficult to answer. In the country as a whole, 72% of Russians support the abolition of the Unified State Exam in favor of traditional exams. Men spoke out for the initiative of deputies more often than women (74 and 69%, respectively). Russians with children are more likely to be childless (77 and 69%). Most of all supporters of a return to the traditional form of certification are among respondents with a salary of 100 thousand rubles (80%),” noted the service’s press service.
Only every eighth respondent (13%) is against abandoning the Unified State Exam. “The Unified State Exam teaches you to work with material, graphs, reason, analyze, and give arguments”; “The Unified State Examination is fighting corruption,” they comment. Those who consider it unreasonable to refuse the Unified State Exam are more numerous among Russians under 34 years of age (this generation has already taken the Unified State Exam).
Among representatives of the economically active population of different regions, residents of the Far Eastern and Ural districts are more often opposed to the abolition of the Unified State Exam (21 and 19%, respectively): “I am for children to take exams once, only at the end of school, and based on the exam results they enter universities » University applicants from these regions more often leave to study in other districts.
