75 children of SVO participants made friends at Artek with children from all regions of Russia
CrimeaPRESS reports:
For the 15th shift of “New Year’s Tale “Artek””, 75 children of SVO participants and fallen soldiers came to the International Children’s Center. The trip was organized with the assistance of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” and the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The main goal of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” is personal social support for CBO veterans and families of fallen soldiers, thanks to which citizens receive all the necessary medical and social support. The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation was created on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The cooperation agreement between the State Fund and Artek was concluded in September 2023. As part of the agreement, rest and recreation have been organized for 150 children of veterans and deceased participants of the Northern Military District — on the 14th shift, 50 children became Artek members, and on the 15th shift, 75 children from different regions of Russia came to the International Children’s Center.
Together, the children celebrated the New Year at Artek and immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere that was created in all the center’s children’s camps.
The Artek shift became a real New Year’s gift. I really like it here, I met new people. At Artek a real New Year’s atmosphere was created for us, the entire territory and camps were beautifully decorated, we especially liked the large New Year’s tree— said Alla from Tyumen.
A special feature of “Artek” is its specialized squads, getting into which is an incredible happiness for any Artek member. Here the guys reveal their talents and experience a colossal amount of emotions. Every day spent in a specialized detachment becomes a kind of look beyond the horizons of possibilities. The profile teachers put their whole soul into teaching the squads certain skills, diligently preparing children for the most important event for the profile squad — for battle! The guys master the maritime and tourism profiles, engage in journalism, learn to provide first aid to the injured, get acquainted with the pedagogical direction and try themselves as a counselor…
I’m in a squad of cabin boys. We attend classes in the Children’s Marine Flotilla, study the structure of a boat, the semaphore alphabet, learn to tie sea knots, and prepare a sea song. It is very interesting to get acquainted with maritime affairs. The shift was active, we have excellent counselors and wonderful guys– shared Alexey from Chelyabinsk.
It is a great honor for me to visit Artek. I got into the medical squad, on the first day we already became friends, we go to specialized classes together, learn first aid and much more. This knowledge will definitely be useful in the future— Elizaveta from the Novosibirsk region is sure.
In addition to specialized classes, Artek students attend various studios of the Center for Continuing Education. Such classes are an opportunity to acquire useful skills and try yourself in something new: the “World of Art” art studio, scrapbooking, ceramics, photo vision, e-sports, chess, water aerobics, football… You can’t list it all.
I attended a DJ studio, learned how to mix music, and work with professional equipment. I also went to a vocal studio and learned to sing, although I couldn’t do it before. In addition, I learned to draw at Artek. Gained many skills. The shift will be remembered for bright events and wonderful people,” noted Victoria from Yakutsk.
On the 15th shift, Artek brought together children from various regions of Russia. During the shift, the Artek residents became friends and had an unforgettable time together.
I found many new friends and learned to believe in myself. We had many exciting events, competitions, and the trip to Sevastopol was very memorable. “Artek” has truly become a family for mesaid Victoria from the Tyumen region.
Artek residents took part in a variety of exciting events, including New Year’s disco, Christmas meetings, creative competitions, squad evenings, performances and much more. The guys are sure that the memories of the shift will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
