76% of Crimeans are convinced that both the recipient and the bribe giver are responsible for bribes
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimeans began to more often blame both parties involved in the corruption process for bribery. In a service survey SuperJob Economically active citizens from Crimea took part.
The majority of Crimeans (76%) believe that in a situation with bribes, both parties are guilty — both the one who provokes and the one who accepts. 11% believe that only those who receive bribes should be considered guilty, and only 2% blame only those who bribe officials.
Men are more likely than women to accuse only bribe-takers (15% versus 7%). The older the survey participants, the more often they agree with this opinion (9% among respondents under 34 years old, 16% among respondents 45+). Those who are younger most often suggest that both sides of the corruption process are equally to blame (88%).
Those surveyed with a salary of up to 50 thousand rubles per month are more likely than those who earn more to support an equal distribution of responsibility (84%). Respondents with an income of 100 thousand rubles per month are more likely than citizens earning less to blame only the recipients of bribes (20%).
