80 checkpoints and 28 dry closets… can't cope with the number of autotourists on the Crimean bridge

There are 80 checkpoints near the Crimean bridge. Nevertheless, on Monday, a traffic jam at the entrance to the Crimean bridge (from the mainland) grew up to 13 km.

Volunteers, employees of the district administration and the Taman rural settlement continue to provide assistance to people waiting in line to travel to Crimea. According to the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, an emergency rescue team of the Temryuk District, Kuban-SPAS rescuers and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the spot. There are four points for dispensing water — it is delivered regularly. Volunteers also distribute water bottles to drivers and passengers.

At the entrance to the bridge, dry closets were put up — a total of 28 pieces. They are installed every 350 meters.

When planning trips to Crimea, drivers are asked to take into account the traffic situation and allow time for passing the necessary checks. The speed of passing the inspection on the Crimean bridge directly depends on the number of items being transported.

However, the authorities are optimistic. The problem of car queues at the Crimean bridge will be resolved in the near future, in particular, it is planned to organize additional inspection points. This was announced on Monday on the air of the TV channel «Russia 24»Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.

Today, measures are being taken at the federal level to combine the security problem that objectively exists after a terrorist act, on the one hand, but on the other hand, to cope with the influx, to organize additional places of control and inspection. Now everyone is actively working on it. I think this issue will be resolved in the near future.Konstantinov said.

Will 100, 150, 200 screening points manage… Good question. And how many more dry closets will be needed …
