83% of Crimeans are ready to give up plastic tableware

In a survey of a service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has developed a draft resolution suggesting, in particular, a ban on the circulation of certain types of polyethylene bottles that cannot be recycled or make it difficult. This ban will come into effect from September 1, 2024. According to a study conducted by SuperJob, 43% of respondents clearly stated their readiness to give up plastic tableware, and another 40% would rather agree to such a step. This choice is most often supported by respondents under the age of 34.
Only 8% of Crimeans are definitely not ready to give up plastic dishes, and another 9% are rather not ready. They explain their position by the fact that plastic dishes are convenient, but if an environmentally friendly and inexpensive alternative is found, they will easily give up plastic.
