A 160-meter St. George ribbon was delivered from the Northern Military District zone to Crimea

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, met with the special representative of the Administrative Office of the President of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol — General Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Crimea Complex» of the Administrative Office of the President of the Russian Federation, Oleg Podolko.
For his significant personal contribution to the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Sergei Aksyonov presented Oleg Podolko with the state award of the Republic of Crimea, the Order “For Fidelity to Duty.” And he expressed gratitude for the constant interaction with the republican authorities for the benefit of Crimea and its residents, as well as for direct participation in various patriotic events.
Such events attract a large number of young people. This instills in them a love for the Motherland and creates a sense of national unity, which is especially important in our time. In turn, Oleg Podolko said that a 160-meter St. George ribbon was delivered to Crimea from the zone of a special military operation. Along its entire length are the signatures of the participants in the special military operation.
We carried this ribbon across the entire line of military contact as a sacred symbol of Victory. The strength of our Russian spirit is unshakable, Victory over any enemy will be ours– notes the special representative of the Administrator of the President of Russia in Crimea.
Participants of the special military operation were also present at the meeting. Sergei Aksyonov talked with the fighters and wished them success on the battlefield and a speedy Victory.
