A 17-year-old boy from Simferopol embezzled other people's money. There will be a trial
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Financial literacy lesson number one (here you have both theory and practice): in the phrase “other people’s money,” the key word is not “money,” but “other people’s.” A 17-year-old boy from Simferopol has not learned this lesson (not yet).
Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Saksky» during operational-search activities to combat property crimes established the fact of misappropriation and embezzlement of other people’s funds. The police found that at a private enterprise for the production of paving slabs, one of the employees took 56 thousand rubles from the customer, gave him a receipt, but did not place the order. A 17-year-old boy from Simferopol came under suspicion— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The suspicions were justified. Punishment? Unfortunately, the young suspect will have to answer for his actions according to the law, since he has reached the age of criminal responsibility.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Misappropriation and embezzlement”). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment of up to two years. The suspect was given a preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place.
