A 19-year-old boy from Feodosia has been charged with the murder of a taxi driver

The Main Investigation Department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol opened a criminal case against a 19-year-old resident of Feodosia, accused of committing murder (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Late in the evening of October 11, local residents discovered the body of a man with numerous stab wounds in the trunk of a VAZ 21099 car on the road between the villages of Vidnoye and Zhuravki, Kirovsky District.
Employees of the Kirov Interdistrict Investigation Department and forensic investigators immediately went to the crime scene. The deceased was a 52-year-old local resident working in a taxi.
As part of the coordinated work of employees of the Investigative Committee, the police and the republican FSB Directorate, the identity of the suspect was established in a short time.
On the eve of the tragedy, a 19-year-old resident of Feodosia, who works as a cook in cafes and hotels, called a taxi and asked to be taken to the address he indicated. On the way, a conflict broke out between the driver and the passenger, during which the young man stabbed the man several times. Then he dragged the body into the trunk, abandoning the car on the roadway and stealing 1.5 thousand rubles from the deceased. The defendant was detained at his friend’s home; he was carrying a bag with a knife, which was used to commit a particularly serious crime.— reported the Investigative Committee.
The investigator received detailed confessions from a resident of Feodosia. At the request of the investigator, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention. The criminal investigation continues.
