A 22-year-old “autolady” from Yalta is weaned from two habits: driving without a license and drinking while driving

In Simferopol, a 22-year-old resident of Yalta was convicted of driving while intoxicated. Interestingly, the young «car lady» has already been repeatedly convicted of similar crimes.
The court found the defendant guilty under Part 2 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a car, a person who is in a state of intoxication, having a criminal record for a similar crime), and under Part 1 of Art. 264.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a car by a person deprived of the right to drive vehicles and subjected to administrative punishment for a similar act)the prosecutor’s office said.
During the trial, it was established that the girl, being brought to administrative and criminal liability for drunk driving, again, being intoxicated, in February 2023 got behind the wheel of a BMW and moved along Vorovskogo Street in Simferopol.
Previously, the defendant was deprived of a driver’s license, however, continued to drive a vehicle— reminded the prosecutor’s office.
Illegal actions of the perpetrator were stopped by traffic police officers, she was suspended from driving.
Taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, the girl was sentenced to 8 months in prison with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 3 years. The convict will serve her sentence in a colony-settlement. The verdict has not entered into force.
