A 25-year-old Crimean woman was sent to a colony for five years. «Mef» is to blame

The Yalta City Court issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 25-year-old resident of the village of Otradnoye. Based on the evidence presented by the prosecutor’s office, the Crimean woman was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (storage of narcotic drugs).

The court found that in February 2023, the girl purchased the narcotic drug “mephedrone” using one of the popular instant messengers. For this purpose, the girl, using the instructions that were sent to her, extracted the drug weighing more than 100 g, transported it and stored it in her apartment for personal use.,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.

The court sentenced the girl to 5 years in prison to serve the sentence in a general regime correctional colony. Why so strict? The Crimean woman turned out to be a “recidivist” who did not draw the right conclusions. Previously, she was convicted of committing a similar crime by the Balaklava District Court of Sevastopol.
