A 27-year-old resident of Sevastopol decided to “earn extra money” from salt. Got caught, get a job in the colony

Sevastopol police detained a pawnbroker who intended to sell a large batch of “salt”. According to the Sevastopol Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, drug control officers detained the car in which the 27-year-old suspect was driving.
The police found out that the man got a job as a pawnbroker in one of the drug markets in the shadow segment of the Internet. Having received a batch of drugs for sale, at the direction of the curator, he equipped hiding places in the Balaklava district of Sevastopol and placed “synthetics” in them for contactless sales.
When examining the detainee’s mobile phone, the geographical coordinates of six caches equipped the day before were established, from which drug control officers seized six packages with the narcotic drug alpha-PVP with a total weight of about 450 grams, which is a particularly large size. Also, when examining the suspect’s place of residence, police officers found packaging material— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
The investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Balaklava region opened a criminal case against the detainee under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, he faces up to 20 years in prison. The defendant was taken into custody.
