A 31-year-old Sevastopol resident “put on stream” the registration of foreigners in the Hero City

For fictitious registration of 27 foreign citizens at their place of stay in the Russian Federation, a Sevastopol resident was sentenced to a large fine.
The court, agreeing with the opinion of the state prosecutor of the Nakhimovsky district prosecutor’s office, made a decision against the 31-year-old local resident. He is accused of committing 11 crimes under Art. 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fictitious registration of a foreign citizen at the place of stay in the Russian Federation).
According to investigators, from August 2022 to March 2023, the man fictitiously registered 1 citizen of Azerbaijan, 18 citizens of Armenia, 3 citizens of Uzbekistan and 5 citizens of Ukraine in his apartment. During this period, he submitted notifications of the arrival of foreign citizens to him, although in reality he did not intend to provide them with housing. Thus, he deprived the authorized bodies of the opportunity to exercise control in the field of migration,” the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office reported details.
The magistrate of court district No. 19 of the Nakhimovsky judicial district of the city of Sevastopol, agreeing with the opinion of the state prosecutor, found the attacker guilty of committing crimes and sentenced him to a fine of 30 thousand rubles. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
