Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies in the city of Sevastopol conducted the next operation to destroy the explosive object of the time of the Great Patriotic War. The German air bomb was liquidated by the SD-250 weighing 250 kilograms. She was discovered by a reed highway during construction work.
The bomb was used to defeat fortifications, technology and manpower. In this operation, 5 specialists of some of the pyrotechnic and special diving work were involved, and the employees of the emergency rescue unit provided a cordon. Unmanned aviation systems were used to monitor the area, — says Viktor Ilyenko, head of the underwater clearance department of part of the pyrotechnic and special diving works of the specialized detachment of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the city of Sevastopol.
Having examined the ammunition, the pyrotechnics of the emergency department determined that the type and condition of the fuse allow caring. Having transported the find to the special polygon, it was destroyed by the controlled undermining.
In total, in 2025, the Sevastopol pyrotechnics of the Russian Emergencies Ministry destroyed more than 340 explosive objects of the Great Patriotic War.
