The main goal of the fund is personal social support for veterans of the Northern Military District and the families of fallen soldiers, assisting them in obtaining all the necessary support measures. Today, a branch of the fund was opened by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The main task that our President has set for us is to do everything possible and impossible so that our heroes feel justice, indifference and care. The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation is a second home for our fighters and their families. A place where they can always come with any problem or call their coordinator at any time of the day— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation is located at: st. Quarantine, 45. Sevastopol managed to prepare the necessary infrastructure in less than two months.
To work in the branch, 25 social coordinators have been trained, who will specifically accompany the veterans of the special military operation and the families of the fallen soldiers on all issues. Elena Anisimova became the head of the Sevastopol branch of the State Fund «Defenders of the Fatherland» — the winner of the competition of the Presidential Grants Fund, a participant in the educational programs «Woman Leader of the Southern Federal District» and «Healthy Lifestyle Leaders», a finalist of the All-Russian competition «Women for a Healthy Society». Victoria Tupchanenko, the wife of the deceased member of the SVO, senior sergeant Evgeny Vladimirovich Tupchanenko, has been appointed Deputy Head of the Branch for Public Projects.
The meeting was also attended by family members of the dead fighters of the NWO and a member of the NWO, Mikhail Drozdov. They noted that the idea of creating a branch of the State Fund is extremely successful. Indeed, very often the families of military personnel do not even know all the social support measures they are entitled to. And such an organization, which works on the principle of a one-stop shop, will significantly help veterans and the families of the victims.
Veterans of NWO will have very different needs and difficulties. The team of social coordinators also includes heroes of the special operation. They want to participate in public life, to help their colleagues. By the Decree of the President, our main task is to return the NMD veterans to peaceful life as soon as possible and support the families of the fallen servicemen— notes the head of the branch of the State Fund «Defenders of the Fatherland» in Sevastopol Elena Anisimova.
Among the tasks of the branch of the fund is assistance in obtaining all the necessary support measures, including medical and social rehabilitation, drug provision, psychological assistance, technical means of rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment. The fund will also assist in the retraining and employment of veterans, help in solving everyday issues. If necessary, long-term care and adaptation of residential premises to the needs of the disabled will also be organized for the wards of the fund.
The foundation will also engage veterans of the Northern Military District in public projects aimed at patriotic education of citizens, the preservation of historical memory and the strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values. In addition, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation will assist non-profit and volunteer organizations that help NVO veterans and their families.
