A British professor will give a course of lectures for SevSU students

Professor, specialist in the field of international relations and the history of maritime powers John Berryman began reading a series of lectures for students of Sevastopol State University. This was reported by the university’s press service.

The topic is “The Evolution of the International System,” and the course is expected to begin with the lecture “The Rise of European Maritime Empires 1453-1700.” The scientist spoke about his interest in studying the role of a maritime power in relations between countries such as the USA, Great Britain, Russia, Japan and China. He also considers Sevastopol one of the important centers of the Russian fleet. John Berryman is reportedly a British scientist, author and co-author of dozens of scientific publications.
