A car fire in the Simferopol region. Why the Dacia Logan caught fire — experts will figure it out

Yesterday, at 17:29, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea received a message that a car was on fire near the village of Zhuravlevka (in the Simferopol region). Upon arrival of firefighters, it became known that a Dacia Logan car was burning in an open area and the fire had spread to dry vegetation.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations quickly carried out a combat deployment and, using a foam concentrate, extinguished the car fire within 20 minutes— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

As a result of the incident, the engine compartment of the car was destroyed by fire. There were no casualties. Experts are looking into the causes of the car fire.
