A ceremony to cancel envelopes with the original stamp took place in Yevpatoria

A solemn ceremony of commemorative cancellation of envelopes with an original stamp from the series “To the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945” dedicated to the liberation of Crimea from the Nazi invaders took place at the Evpatoria Museum of Local Lore.
The original stamp depicts the emblem of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945; the main illustration shows a unit of marines returning to liberated Sevastopol, as well as a map of military operations. In addition to the issue of the envelope with the original stamp, special cancellation stamps were made for Moscow, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Evpatoria, Kerch and Feodosia of the Republic of Crimea— reported the press service of the administration of Yevpatoria.
The artistic envelope with the original stamp was released in a circulation of 500 thousand copies.
