The Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into information about an incident in one of the kindergartens in the Leninsky district of Crimea.

There is information on social networks that a six-year-old boy found a needle on the floor in one of the rooms of a preschool institution and, left without proper supervision from teachers, swallowed it. The child received prompt medical attention.

The investigation will carefully check the information presented, and if it is confirmed, the actions of the staff of the preschool institution will be assessed for compliance with the interests and safety measures of minors— reported in Sledkom.

Based on the results of the inspection, a lawful, informed procedural decision will be made.
