A children's camp operated illegally in Sevastopol

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Gagarinsky District of Sevastopol, with the involvement of specialists from the Department of Education and Science of the city, checked the compliance with the requirements of the law in the field of organizing recreation and health improvement for children.

It was established that on the basis of the children’s development center on the street. Lastly, in the city of Sevastopol, during the summer, a business entity organized a children’s camp. At the time of the inspection, recreation and recreation services were provided to 40 minors. The children lived temporarily at the development center and received food. At the same time, the business entity did not have the right to conduct this activity, since it did not provide information to the city Department of Education and Science about the existence of conditions for its implementation. The camp was not included in the register of children’s recreation and health organizations,” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

The district prosecutor opened a case against the camp manager for an administrative offense under Art. 14.65 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of organizing recreation and recreation for children). Having examined the case materials, the magistrate of the Gagarinsky judicial district of Sevastopol fined the guilty person 500 thousand rubles.

After the intervention of the supervisory authority, the illegal activities of the camp, which operated without confirmation of conditions for the recreation and health of children, were stopped.

The fine has now been paid in full.
