The “Water of Russia” campaign was very popular among Sevastopol residents. It is extremely important for all of us to protect the natural environment and use natural resources efficiently and carefully.– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of natural resources and ecology, Yulia Gavrilova.
The goal of today’s cleanup is to develop in schoolchildren a respectful attitude towards the environment, the sea, and skills in the field of environmental culture. About 50 volunteers and schoolchildren took part in the event, including students from schools No. 37, 15, the Engineering School, and the Center for Ecological and Naturalistic Creativity.
We are on vacation now, but I knew that today would be a cleanup day. I really wanted to take part in it, so I asked my parents to bring me specially from Yalta, to my classmatesnotes a 6th grade student at the School of Engineering.
International Day of the Black Sea, a unique ecosystem with rich biological diversity, is an opportunity to remember our responsibility to nature and take an active part in its protection. One of the main goals of the “Water of Russia” campaign is to maintain the ecological balance in the region.
