A convict celebrated a wedding in a Simferopol correctional colony
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Simferopol, in correctional colony No. 1, a convict and his chosen one tied the knot.
The wedding ceremony took place in compliance with all established rules and traditions. A civil registry office employee was invited to the institution to register the marriage. The newlyweds exchanged wedding rings. After which they were presented with a marriage certificate. Representatives of the administration of IK-1 congratulated the newlyweds on this significant event in their lives.
It is worth noting that the management of the correctional institution always welcomes the decision of convicts to register marriage and start a family, and also provides assistance in preparing the necessary documents and organizing the wedding procedure, since this contributes to their law-abiding behavior while serving their sentence, the formation of socially useful connections and successful adaptation to society after release,” noted the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
