At the Crimean stand of VDNKh, a creative meeting took place with People’s Artist of Russia, theater and film actor, TV presenter, film producer Dmitry Kharatyan.

Look what is happening in Crimea now, how this region has transformed in recent years. As we know, in 2014 Crimea returned to its native harbor. I am a happy person because I witnessed these historical events! On March 16, I was in Sevastopol and Simferopol, so I was lucky, I saw this spiritual uplift in the people who went to vote. Crimea has long been our Russian territory. People of different nationalities and religions live there, but we are all Russians. Russia is our huge Motherland. The exhibition demonstrates this. The same thing was symbolized in Soviet times by VDNKh, which during my childhood was a symbol of prosperity.

It’s great that Crimea and Sevastopol are represented at the exhibition; I’m happy that I have something to do with this region. For me, Crimea is a very significant place, part of my biography. The fact that it is developing and thriving is wonderful.noted Dmitry Kharatyan.

The artist spoke about the creation and prospects for development in the republic of the Sunny Island Children’s and Family Film Festival, which is held annually in Crimea and introduces new works of domestic filmmakers.

In turn, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina emphasized that common history and common roots, our spiritual origins, fundamental values ​​and language are the basis of our prosperity in unity. These words are reflected on the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Crimea, and this motto is the main vector for the development of the cultural sphere of the region.

We have achieved a lot in 10 years. The culture of Crimea has undergone a qualitative transformation, but the main thing has remained unchanged — a close-knit team of talented and dedicated people. This is precisely one of the main values ​​of our republic, along with natural resources, historical and architectural monuments. And over the course of 10 days we will try to convey to you and other visitors to the exhibition a piece of our warmth, to reveal all the diversity of the cultural sphere of Crimeasaid the head of the republican department.
