A Crimean man was convicted of injuring an acquaintance. If you drink, remove the knives from the table

The Pervomaisky district prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a local resident. The court found the Crimean citizen guilty of committing a crime under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous harm to health, dangerous to human life, committed with the use of an object used as a weapon).

During the trial, it was established that in early May 2023, the defendant, while intoxicated, during a conflict with his acquaintance, stabbed him 3 times in the chest area with a knife. The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, found the defendant guilty of committing the charged crime and sentenced him to 3 years 6 months in prison— reported the prosecutor’s office.

The young man will serve his sentence in a special regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
