A Crimean SVO participant visited the “#SVOYAMUZYKA” program at the “Meganom” Academy

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The educational program «#SVOyaMUZYKA» has ended at the Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» (the «Tavrida.ART» project from Rosmolodezh). It brought together creators from different regions of the country, including participants and eyewitnesses of the SVO, to create musical works on the theme of patriotism, traditional values, and service to the Motherland. One of the participants was a poet, author and performer of his own songs about a special military operation, a veteran of military operations, and a participant of the SVO Dmitry Voronin.

More than 30 singer-songwriters from different regions of the country, including participants and eyewitnesses of the special military operation, worked for a week to create works on the theme of patriotism, traditional values, and service to the Motherland. As a result, the musicians created about 20 tracks, the best of which will be released on the music label «Tavrida.ART».

Among the participants of the program «#SVOYAMUZYKA» was Dmitry Voronin and his wife Olga from Simferopol. He is a combat veteran, a participant of the SVO, one of the leaders of the Crimean branch of the «Defenders of the Fatherland» foundation. According to Voronin, his passion for music came during his time at the front.

I am not a professional musician, rather self-taught. There, in the trenches, several poems were written, from which songs were later born. The composition with which I came to the program was also a poem at first. It was written after talking with the widow of a deceased participant of the SVO. «Say «thank you» to the soldier» is a tribute to respect and gratitude to those who were and remain on the front lines, who defend the Motherland and give us the opportunity to live a peaceful life here, «in civilian life.» Believe me, it is very important for a soldier to simply say «thank you.» This song is on behalf of a mother, wife, sister, daughter. My wife and I performed it at the program, — said Dmitry Voronin.

Last year, Dmitry took part in the Meganom Academy’s educational program, «Learning to Create Together.» It was designed to improve the creative competencies of the participants in the special military operation.

Thanks to Tavrida for inspiration and creative energy. For the attention paid to talented guys — participants of the SVO. There should be more original poems and songs on the theme of the special military operation. It will be great if Tavrida helps to raise new Simonovs and Asadovs, — says Dmitry.

In addition to writing poetry and music, Dmitry Voronin writes short stories. Some of them were included in a collection compiled by Zakhar Prilepin from stories by SVO participants and published with the support of the «Defenders of the Fatherland» foundation.
