The prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a previously convicted resident of the Kirovsky district. The Crimean citizen was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 150 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (involving a minor in committing a crime), paragraphs. “a”, “c” part 2 art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft), part 1 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft), part 3 of Art. 30, pp. “a”, “c” part 2 art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted theft).
The court established that in July 2023, the convict involved his minor brother in committing theft and attempting to steal bicycles, which the owners left unattended near their houses. In addition, the convict, with the assistance of a minor, stole a Racer motorcycle. Subsequently, he left the vehicle on one of the streets in the village of Zolotoe Pole— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, as well as taking into account existing criminal records, sentenced the man to 5 years and 5 months in prison. He will serve his sentence in a general regime correctional colony.
