A Crimean woman punished her roommate by paying with his bank card. In the end, she punished herself.

A 62-year-old local resident turned to the duty unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Simferopol District, who said that his cohabitant secretly stole his bank card, from which she spent 11,000 rubles. The district police officers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Simferopol region detained a 51-year-old unemployed woman. The Crimean woman told the police that after she and her cohabitant had a conflict on a domestic basis, being at the place of joint residence, she secretly took his bank card from the victim and went to friends in Sudak, where she spent a week paying with a stolen card for food and alcohol. The woman admitted her guilt and repented of her deed.
On this fact, the Russian Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Simferopol District initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph “d” of Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft committed from a bank account). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 6 years— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The malefactor was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and proper behavior.
