On October 30, at 5:45 in Kerch, an accident involving 5 cars occurred along the Heroes of Stalingrad highway. About this massive accident in which a person died — HERE.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Daewoo car, born in 1962, was fatally injured, the passenger of the Ford car, born in 1961, the driver and passenger of the Geely car, born in 1981 and 1982, as well as the 15-year-old passenger of the Nissan car » with injuries received, were taken to a medical facilitythe Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea reminded.

The alleged culprit fled the scene of the accident. Within a matter of hours, criminal investigation operatives established his location and detained.

Currently, the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Kerch has opened a criminal case against the citizen on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of a person through negligence, if it involves leaving the place where it was committed),” the police clarified.

The suspect was detained in accordance with Art. 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation (on suspicion of committing a crime).
