A criminal case has been opened in Simferopol following an incident at a polling station.

The investigative bodies of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol opened a criminal case on the fact of obstruction of the exercise of electoral rights or the work of election commissions (Article 141 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). We are talking about today’s incident at polling station No. 339 in Simferopol.

It was established that this afternoon, a 31-year-old resident of the peninsula, while at the polling station on Kechkemetskaya Street, carried brilliant green in a juice bag and poured it into the ballot box. Investigators examined the scene of the incident. The suspect was taken to the unit of the Republican Investigative Committee for interrogation, establishing all the circumstances of the crime and the events preceding it— reported in Sledkom.

How it happened was recorded by a surveillance camera installed on the site.

31-year-old Maria P. (a medical worker by training) came to the site on Kecskemetska Street, holding a juice box in her hands. She went up to the ballot box and poured the contents of the box onto the ballot processing complex. There were 114 ballots in the KOIB at that moment. They say they were not injured.

Unofficially reveals details in his Telegram channel Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov:

The woman was subjected to psychological treatment by the Ukrainian special services and thought that she was carrying out an assignment from the FSB. About a week ago, Maria Andreevna tried to rent an apartment in Simferopol, transferred money, but the tenant disappeared.

Literally immediately she received a call from supposedly “Rosfinmonitoring” and stated that they were opening a criminal case against her for financing terrorism, named the exact amount of the transfer and said that this was a criminal offense… After which they called from a number with the prefix “495” Moscow and an FSB avatar.

She was processed for a long time, forced to take out a loan, she was even already at the bank, but it was not approved for her. Today they reported that the criminal case will be closed if she helps catch the criminal, there is a bomb at one of the sites and they need to fill the ballot box with green stuff in order to identify the terrorist.

Maria came to the site on Kecskemetska Street with a juice box, into which she poured some green juice and splashed the liquid from it into the trash can. The issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 141 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is currently being decided.

Attention, law enforcement officers will never assign any tasks, you will be immediately invited for a meeting, especially since no one calls through instant messengers. Warn all your friends and relatives; if you receive such calls, you should immediately report it to the FSB.
