A criminal on the federal wanted list was caught in Crimea. «Distinguished» here too

In OP No. 1 “Alupkinsky” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Yalta, a message was received from a doctor at the emergency room of a medical institution that an unknown man had been brought to them, to whom doctors diagnosed bodily injuries qualified as causing grievous bodily harm. During the investigation, the police identified the suspect in the crime. He turned out to be a previously convicted 42-year-old resident of a neighboring region, temporarily residing in the village. An interesting “detail” was revealed: it was this man who was put on the federal wanted list in the Donetsk People’s Republic in 2015 on charges of a crime of causing bodily harm to a citizen.
It was established that in 2018, the suspect, hiding from law enforcement agencies, arrived in the territory of the Republic of Crimea to earn money. While working part-time at various construction sites, he met the victim. The man’s earnings did not allow him to rent housing, and one of his colleagues offered to temporarily live in one of the rooms of his apartment. In October, a domestic conflict arose between them, which ended with the victim being beaten in the form of multiple fractures and bruises, as a result of which the man is in the hospital. After causing bodily harm to an acquaintance, the man left his place of temporary residence, going to a friend in one of the villages of the Simferopol region, where he was detained by operatives— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
According to Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”), a criminal case was initiated. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 8 years. The investigator chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention in accordance with Art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
