CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of the 10th anniversary Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus, which is taking place in the Republic of Bashkortostan, deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea met with the Chairman of the State Assembly — Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev. According to the speaker of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, during the meeting the parties discussed issues of inter-regional cooperation in the field of tourism, healthcare, development of transport infrastructure.
Bashkortostan is a brotherly region for us. After the return of Crimea to Russia at the parliamentary level, we signed an agreement on cooperation in lawmaking, the republic took over our Belogorsk district. During the period of the energy blockade, Bashkiria supplied generators for socially significant facilities in the region. With the support of the government of Bashkortostan, the Belogorsk regional house of culture was repaired, windows and roofs were replaced in almost all kindergartens and schools in the region, and work is underway to lay gas pipelines in rural areas. We are grateful for the support, for the strong friendly relations between our regions! I am convinced that over time their effectiveness will only grow.— said Vladimir Konstantinov.
