CrimeaPRESS reports:

On April 17 and 18, 2024, the patriotic forum-festival “Crimean Spring” is being held in Simferopol, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the entry of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol into the Russian Federation.

The events were organized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation as part of the work on state-patriotic education. They are held in the State Council of the Republic of Crimea and the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea. “Crimean Spring” is the symbolic name of a historical event that happened 10 years ago. It predetermined the future fate of the region and its inhabitants, forever connecting us with our historical Motherland — Russia. In the spring of 2024, festive events are being held to mark the anniversary of the Crimean referendum. The Russian prosecutor’s office, which from the first days stood up to protect the rights of the inhabitants of the peninsula and the interests of the state, joined the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the entry of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol into the Russian Federation,” noted the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

The participants of the forum-festival were the management and employees of the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, the Southern Transport Prosecutor’s Office, government bodies, representatives of the Regional Public Organization of Veterans and Pensioners of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea. Also involved in the festival-forum are the leadership and students of the Crimean Law Institute (branch) of the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation and other higher educational institutions, cadets, schoolchildren, and youth members.

The delegation of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office was headed by Deputy City Prosecutor Anatoly Abramenko. It included young specialists from the department and employees of the city prosecutor’s office.

The beginning of the forum-festival was marked by the solemn taking of the Prosecutor’s Oath by young specialists from the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea and the prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol. Our city was represented at the ceremony by Assistant Prosecutor of the Nakhimovsky District Alexander Kalinko. Together with other participants, he vowed to sacredly observe the Constitution and laws of the Russian Federation, to uncompromisingly fight any violations of the law, to actively protect the interests of the individual, society and the state, to be attentive when considering citizens’ appeals, objective and fair, and to constantly improve their skills.

Then a conference was held dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the 2014 Crimean referendum and the reunification of Crimea with Russia. Among its participants was Dmitry Potanin, senior assistant to the prosecutor of the city of Sevastopol for supervision of the implementation of laws on federal security, interethnic relations, and countering extremism and terrorism.
