A design and analytical session was held at KFU as part of the Priority 2030 program
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimean Federal University named after. An expert group from the Sociocenter visited V.I. Vernadsky on a working visit. As part of the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program, a design and analytical session was held at the university. 60 university representatives took part in it. The purpose of the experts’ visit was to organize problem-oriented communication and help in solving the problems that the university faced when building a target model and implementing strategic projects.
My task is to look at how the university is developing, what has happened over the years, what changes have taken place in the administrative and managerial apparatus, how the development of strategic projects has changed, the general framework of aspirations, and to assess how adequately internal strategic planning allows us to bring all the capabilities of the university to a new level. It is very difficult to talk about the dynamics, since the university has undergone serious changes in the administrative and managerial apparatus: the rector has changed, the people who were involved in strategic projects, involved in their creation, development, management have changed, the people who were involved in the creation of student offices, educational programs. At the moment, one can see the desire of the university to become not just better, but to become better– the press service of the university quotes Kira Kim, a member of the Commission of the “Priority 2030” program.
On the first day, Sociocentre experts visited the scientific and educational infrastructure facilities opened at the university as part of the Priority 2030 program: the Priority scientific and clinical center for health and rehabilitation, a complex for grafting grape cuttings, as well as the Cave scientific and speleological complex «Tavrida» After the excursion part, the university held an orientation session, as well as a presentation of the development program and the main policies of the university: educational, research and innovation, youth, infrastructure, as well as human capital management policies and the university management system. Konstantin Bogonosov, Deputy Director of the Department for Coordination of Activities of Educational Organizations of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, joined the event in the VKS format.
Over the next two days, session participants were divided into six groups, each of which worked on its own topic: target model and control system; basic processes in the field of education; basic processes in the field of science and innovation; strategic project «Agropolis»; strategic project “Crimea 2.0”; strategic project “Medicine and sanatorium-resort rehabilitation” and “Genomics and biotechnology”.
The Crimean Federal University is located in a special part, so the team that works here really has serious potential. All three days that we worked, the participants showed potential in one aspect or another. To a greater extent, this, of course, was a positive progress. The team is focused on results, strives for this, tries to generate some ideas, improve the activities that exist now, and tries to create an image of the university in 2030, which will truly be a driver of development of the Republic of Crimea— emphasizes the expert of the Federal State Institution “Sociocenter” Alexander Fetisov.
