A “Digital Lesson” on testing technologies took place in Sevastopol

Today in Sevastopol, as part of the all-Russian educational project “Lesson of Numbers”, the department of digital development conducted an open lesson “Testing Technologies” for students in grade 8-A of school No. 60.
Students were taught about software testing, including the stages of the process, tools, methods and the necessary skills of testers. In addition, the guys got acquainted with the variety of IT professions related to testing software products– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the digital region development department of the digital development department of Sevastopol, Angelina Burovtsova.
In addition to listening to the lecture, students watched a video presentation and completed an online trainer. The simulator and thematic video are effective educational tools that increase interest in learning and allow students to practice and consolidate their acquired knowledge. In 2023, Sevastopol schoolchildren completed the online simulator more than 50 thousand times.
Upon completion of the training, students of “Lessons in Numbers” can receive a certificate corresponding to the level of qualification:
- novice detective tester;
- experienced detective tester;
- professional detective tester.
“Number Lessons” is a series of computer science lessons that take place during the school year in Russian schools in various formats. The online project in Sevastopol has been implemented since 2019 as part of the federal project “Personnel for the Digital Economy” of the national project “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, implemented on the initiative of the President of Russia.
During 2024, employees of the Department of Digital Development of Sevastopol will conduct “Number Lessons” every month in various schools in the city.
