A discussion club has opened at the Tauride Chersonesus Museum-Reserve

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The “Polis” discussion club for schoolchildren and students from 14 to 20 years old began operating at the Tauride Chersonese Museum-Reserve. Students of the Sevastopol College of Architecture and Construction met with special military operation fighters Nikolai Maslakov and Nikolai Mishchenkov, watched an educational film and discussed what patriotism is. The partners of the event were the Russian Society “Knowledge” and the “Defenders of the Fatherland” Foundation. The film “What is Patriotism” from the series “Russian DNA”, provided by the educational organization, was watched and discussed in Chersonesos.

It is important not only to love your country, but also to actively take part in its life and care about its future. We must remember that each of us can contribute to the development of society, starting with simple but meaningful steps such as respecting the history and culture of our country, participating in community events and supporting local initiativessaid Nikolai Maslakov, a lecturer at the Knowledge Society and a combat veteran.

Also, Nikolai Maslakov took public speaking courses as part of the joint educational project of the Russian Society “Knowledge” and the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland in Sevastopol “Serving the Fatherland,” which received grant support from the government of the hero city.

Today we are talking with young people about such an important topic as patriotism, because many have forgotten that they need to love their Motherland and defend it. She can’t do without us. It is important that such protection is manifested not only externally, but also within the country. Young people are the most important thing, because they are the ones who will defend the Motherland. Children cannot be on their own. We need to take care of them and educate them. Be an example for young people and explain what, why and why,” shared SVO participant and volunteer Nikolai Mishchenkov.

The guys listened to our defenders with great interest, asked them questions and expressed their opinions, and at the end received certificates for participating in the first meeting of the Polis discussion club in the Tauride Chersonese Museum-Reserve.
