A dormitory for employees of a children's rehabilitation center is being built in Yevpatoria

In Evpatoria, on the territory of the Federal Children’s Rehabilitation Center with a total area of ​​about 100 thousand square meters. m began the construction of a hostel for medical workers. This was reported by the press service of the “Unified Customer in the Construction Industry”.

Permission for the construction of a seven-story apartment-type dormitory for staff with a total area of ​​more than 9 thousand square meters. meters was received in March 2024. Today, specialists are already performing construction and installation work. Work is underway at the site to develop the foundation pit for the building, — said the company’s press service.

About 225 medical employees of the future children’s center who do not have their own housing will live in comfortable conditions. The hostel will have 151 apartments for one or two people with their own kitchen and bathroom. In addition, specialists will improve the surrounding area of ​​the hostel. There will be pedestrian paths, sports and children’s playgrounds, as well as small architectural forms.

In addition, on the combined territory of the Moinaki mud baths and the Rodina sanatorium, where a rehabilitation center for children is being built, work is also underway to implement the second stage of construction. Specialists are constructing a building with dining and assembly halls, which are designed for 300 seats each. Currently, work is underway there on the construction of facades, roofing and installation of windows.

Innovative methods will be used to rehabilitate young patients. The center will be intended for children with diseases of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, somatic and other diseases“, concluded the company’s press service.

In June 2022, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko held a ceremony to lay the first stone at the construction site of the new Federal Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Crimea. The implementation of the first and second stages of construction of a modern medical facility in Evpatoria is planned to be completed in 2024-2026.
