A drug dealer was tracked down and arrested in Yalta. Caught red-handed — from a large batch of “salt”

In Yalta, employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Drug Control received operational information about the involvement of a 38-year-old local resident in activities related to drug trafficking.
Law enforcement officers stopped the suspect on one of the city streets. The man was noticeably nervous and behaved suspiciously. Police officers searched the attacker and seized a mobile phone that contained photographs of caches with narcotic drugs installed in the city of Yalta.
At the suspect’s place of residence, investigators conducted a search, as a result of which they found and seized a polymer bag with a powdery substance, packaging material, electronic scales, a mobile phone and a bank card.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
According to the expert opinion, the material provided is a narcotic drug derivative of N-methylephedrone with a total mass of 58.69 g.
Detectives inspected areas of the area according to the coordinates found on the attacker’s mobile phone. As a result, 17 packages containing a white powdery substance were discovered and seized. According to the attacker, the found samples contain a narcotic substance, which he acquired contactlessly through one of the instant messengers, left in caches (bookmarks) in Yalta for the purpose of subsequent sale via the Internet. According to the results of the study, the detected substances with a total mass of 24.15 g are a narcotic drug derivative of N-methylephedrone (the so-called “salt”).
An investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yalta opened a criminal case against the suspect on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 4 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempt at the illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, or their parts containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, on a large scale”— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 20 years. The attacker was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
