A drug dealer with a load of mefa was detained in the Simferopol region

In the Simferopol region, police officers detained a suspect in drug trafficking near a cache of dangerous “synthetics.”
As a result of operational search activities, employees of the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea detained a previously convicted 41-year-old resident of the Dzhankoy district. As a result of a personal search, 20 packages, presumably containing a narcotic substance, were found and confiscated from a citizen— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
According to the expert’s conclusion, the three packages seized from the attacker contained the narcotic drug mephedrone, with a total weight of 2.47 grams (which is a significant size). An examination has been ordered for the remaining 17 packages.
During interrogation, the suspect explained that in order to make quick money, he got in touch with a curator in one of the groups in the Telegram messenger, who sent him the coordinates where the cache of narcotic substances was located. The man reached the location according to the coordinates and took the narcotic substance. He was detained by police at the crime scene. The citizen admitted his guilt and repented of his deedsthe police said.
Repentance is repentance, but a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Attempt to commit illegal sale of narcotic drugs”) was initiated. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 8 to 15 years. The Simferopol District Court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention for a period of 2 months.
