In Kerch, a local resident was convicted of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm dangerous to human life. Based on the evidence presented by the prosecutor’s office, the 32-year-old man was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous harm to health, dangerous to human life).

The preliminary investigation authorities established that in April 2023, a 32-year-old man, while intoxicated, drank alcohol with an acquaintance. During a verbal conflict, the defendant beat his opponent, hitting him at least 8 times with his fist in various parts of the body.,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.

Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor of the city prosecutor’s office, the perpetrator was sentenced to 3 years in prison. The convicted person will serve his sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
