A drunken quarrel, an insult, a knife… The sum of the parts is the verdict of the court in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, the prosecutor’s office of the Leninsky district approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 43-year-old resident of the Tambov region. He is charged under Part 3 of Art. 30 – part 1 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder).

According to investigators, in August 2023, a man, while intoxicated on General Ostryakov Avenue at night, came into conflict with a 36-year-old Sevastopol resident, who reprimanded him and left a short time later. Feeling offended, the attacker found him near a nearby residential building and made repeated attempts to stab him in the head with a folding knife. The victim dodged the blows, but was wounded in the neck. People nearby stopped the attacker and then handed him over to the police.reports the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

An important clarification (the accused must pray to the doctors): thanks to timely medical care, the victim survived.

The district prosecutor’s office sent the criminal case to the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits. The “Tambov guest” faces a long term of imprisonment in a maximum security colony.
