The garden farmer has been growing strawberries for about years. During this time, he cultivated berries both on the open ground — in the field, and in an artificial environment. As a result, I settled on the Hydroponics technology, the essence of which is that oxygen, nutrients and other necessary components go directly to the roots in the form of a solution. Last year, on 0.6 hectares, I planted garden strawberry bushes in special bags with a nutrient substrate and placed them above the ground, since the soil in this area is complex and rocky. To do this, I made a metal structure for hydroponics and prepared seedlings of the Albion variety, which I planted on this area. Since July of this year, the agricultural producer has already harvested about 4-5 tons of berries. The farmer sells his products in the markets of the Crimean capital, and in the future plans to enter the mainland market , — quotes the press service of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alima Zaredinova.

The first deputy minister also clarified that the farmer received a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea last year as part of the implementation of the main event “Regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses” from the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea. With this money, he purchased metal racks and arches to insulate plants so that they could bear fruit all year round, as well as a film and clips to secure it.

Recall that this year, as part of the implementation of the main event «Regional project «Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses» of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture and the Regulation of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food Markets of the Republic of Crimea in the period from 2019 up to 2022 year, grant support was received by peasant farms for a total amount of — 138, 4 million rubles, including 7 grant recipients in 2022 for a total of 18,9 million rubles.
