The Feodosia City Court of the Republic of Crimea, a 37-year-old local resident, was found guilty of 5 episodes for public calls for extremist activities made using information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, h. 2 Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code), and he was sentenced in the form of 2 (two) years 6 (six) months imprisonment with serving the main punishment in the form of imprisonment in a colony-settlement and with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities related to the administration of sites of electronic or information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet, with the posting of appeals and other materials in information and information Telecommunication networks of public, including the Internet for 2 (two) years 6 (six) months.
The court found that in the period from 13.09.2022. on 08.07.2024, in the Internet information and telecommunication network, in the Telegram messenger in one of the communities, after familiarizing themselves with anti-Russian propaganda information, which negatively covers the Russian Federation, in particular, as an aggressor and occupier, who invaded Ukraine and applying violence against civilians, including women and children, the defendant left text comments, thereby publicly called for extremist activity, intentionally, based on national hatred in relation to people who are by nationality, pursuing the goal of impact on consciousness, will and the behavior of an unlimited circle of people and their inducing them to the implementation of extremist activity.
At the hearing, the defendant admitted his guilt in his deed and repented.
When making a sentence, the court took into account data on the personality of the defendant, the presence of mitigating and aggravating punishment of circumstances.
